Future in Question?

Oct 10, 2022

As the Garden State Herd football team gets set to begin their 2023 Campaign, it looks like their Offense will be missing a key piece.

QB Ricky Jones (@ricky_rhedd) will be spending this season on Injured Reserve after having surgery in the off-season.

Jones, who emerged as the teams QB of the future last year, will be forced to miss the season after repairing a torn rotator cuff, that forced him to miss the final 2 games of the 2022 season.

Starting out last year as the third string quarterback, he (Jones) quickly showed why it wasn’t a mistake for HC Wayne Dabney (@coachwayne1212) to sit then starter Gerard Noel II after two games in favor of Jones.

With Ricky Jones missing in action, Coach Dabney and New offensive coordinator Keith Anderson (@keithanderson482) will have to turn to some new faces to hopefully fill the shoes of Jones, and get this offense to continue on the promising path it showed pre Jones injury.
