Ryan Snyder serves as the Director of Recruiting for the Garden State Herd, bringing over a decade of experience and a deeply personal connection to the athletes he helps guide. His story is not one of early stardom but of perseverance, belief, and second chances. And now, he’s committed to helping others find theirs.

An overlooked high school football player, Snyder received no college interest despite his love for the game. He went on to play basketball at the community college level an opportunity that allowed him to stay competitive even though football programs were limited. From there, he spent 15 years (2010–2025) playing and coaching at the semi pro level, never losing sight of the impact football had on his life.

Now, as a recruiter, Coach Snyder’s focus is clear: find the hidden gems. Whether it’s a player buried on a depth chart at a big school or a student athlete from a small program with no exposure, he works to discover overlooked talent and help them find their way. He also takes special pride in working with athletes who may struggle academically but have the drive and potential to succeed with the right structure and support.

“My goal is to help build something for kids and their future,” Snyder says. “I want the Garden State Herd to be a beacon for young men to grow and become the best man they can be.”
